Maximum Students are first generation learner. as the school is in ruler area , all the revision work and home work school have to take care. During Online classes maximum students were not able to attend due to lack of resources and many were not able to afford smart phones
Disorganization. Following the Routine. Many students find it difficult to follow the school routine. Distractions. In the current times, distractions have increased manifold. Bullying. Bullying is a major problem that students face in school.
Attitude of the secondary children is more focused on getting marks rather than understanding the application of the concepts. They are distracted because of multiple reasons and the main idea behind learning takes a backseat. Peer pressure is another disturbing factor that hinders a child's learning path to a great extent. The need of the hour is discipline, accountability and willingness to learn, challenge and achieve positively.
Following the routine especially during online classes is a challenge. Also keeping in mind their adolescent age, the students are already going through a lot, internally and in present times, externally also.
Learning gaps from elementary education. Many of the students at the secondary level lag behind on elementary-level competencies. Absence of life skills training. Indiscipline of students, examination malpractices, low quality students-intake and poor academic performance of students.

The main challenges faced are 1) addressing the emotional and psychological needs of adolescents 2) The task of bringing some discipline and accountability in the students 3) Catering to the diversified requirements both curricular and extra curricular

Varying academic levels are a challenge as students are very diverse. Resource sharing, teacher development in terms of ICT are the most important challenges.

Most of the students are first generation learners .So their HW duty also school has to do. In online classes also they were unable to attend because of unavailability of phones. So, after 1and a half year their educational growth is downwards.
Students are very diverse due to that implementation of academic resources is a challenge. To reach to each student and meet their individual needs and create an atmosphere for learning is another challenge.
The biggest challenge that we are faced with today is to ensure student participation in the online classes to ensure continued learning and conducting fair assessments online.
Safety and security of students. How to motivate students, active participation of online class, lack of interest in studies, net issues, lack of attention in online class etc.
Having a school in a developing area has its share of local habitants whose children are trying to be first generation in studying in private schools. No support from parents for teaching learning at home.
Active participation in online classes and regular attendance. Check on discipline and too much and unnecessary intervention by parents on trivial matters.
Its a good thing that online education has become the part of our education system for these days which provide us a huge chance to educate the students in different way.
An absence of life skills training for students in this age range. Teachers struggle with dealing with these issues in their classrooms, further leading to poor academic performance.
pandemic has made it difficult to reach the students in most proper manner and this has affected the mental health of the students. constant parental presence at home and being in doors has had its effect. learning now is sluggish and the shine of staying at home is loosing its perspective.
Huge distraction due to exposure to digital media during the lockdown period. Lack of accountability and sincerity among students. Due to mass promotion of students in the past 2 years the seriousness and devotion towards studies have all evaporated. Over pampering and over protection by parents and unnecessary interference during online classes. Students have settled well in their comfort zone and motivation doesnt seem to work.
The learners are distracted by social media. They also have so much access to information from the internet, they feel they can copy facts from there without doing any research. They just copy and paste leaving little or no scope of creative, critical thinking. Online classes was a deterrent.
Assessment is still to score good marks as the marking scheme and pattern is to focus on marks obtained by individual student. Secondary students are still opting for rote learning over competency based learning and conceptual clarity based learning.
Students are more marks oriented rather than gaining knowledge. The online classes have posed a challenge to teachers in getting the attention and presence of the children in the class
Students are lacking punctuality and regularity. They want marks with less effort. More interested in short term gains. Making notes and revising at home is not done on regular basis.
Children need high marks but not willing to put more effort. Learning became more result oriented rather than gaining practical experience in fcing the challenges of the life. Need more emphasis in life skills.
Main challenge is to bring focus and discipline among children specially after pandemic. children are so used to distraction that concentration is missing and thus understanding is affected.
At secondary level the biggest challenge we r facing is distraction online studies have numerous benefits but understanding the need of child, lack of practical teaching have so many negative effects
Children are unable to attend online lectures, distractions in between the online classes is more, child is sometimes physically present but mentally not connected to the class, practical learning experience is missing, children have be become lazy
The most common problems that adolescents have to deal with are Physical, Emotional and Behavioral changes. Whether In the school or off the school the major challenge is to direct them patiently towards not only educational but life-long goals and make them realise their capabilities to achieve the same.
Our school is in a semi rural area and many of our students are first generation learners. It is not possible for many parents to help them in learning process. Many of them are not able to handle the freedom to social media and online gaming. Students are living in a virtual world.
Most challenging fact about secondary learner is use of mobile which is biggest cause of distraction. Mostly students found themselves comfortable with physical activities and mental understanding, rather than rot learning. Too much exam system also hinders the growth of learner.

Today challenges faced in secondary education are that students first of all have mind set to score more and more marks without learning the application of concept. Education must not pressurize them to learn only for getting admissions in reputation institutions. Instead they should learn moral values, skill application and vocational guidance .The students get distracted towards media on online classes

School leadership plays a very important role for wholesome development of all the students. Schools must ensure effective leadership qualities in classrooms so that students could become self dependent and self reliant.
During the pandemic, these adolescent students couldn't be trained& tutored as per the need of the hour.Online/digital classes stood as the barrier and thus the learnng gaps stand as a big challenge .But to combat this ,we first of all sensitised the students by involving them in policy making. No doubt, deviation& distraction both were at its height yet somwhere they were conscious of the of their state .The students have been further divided into small groups. The teachers have undergone various pedagogical & competency enhancement trainings ,workshops& demo sessions by the proficient trainers. The school has not only identified the problem but has designed a pedagogical plan to enhance their vision & build high competency .Parents too have been taken into confidence & collective efforts have been geared up to pluck the learning gaps where the students are motivated & are coming back to the normalcy.Collaborative tasks of motivating& helping the ones who need more with deep understanding& empathy is certainly to bring back the students to prioritise their capacity building& holistic development .My take away from these joint endeavours as a pedagogical leader is that a sensitive, empathetic& result oriented team can yield positive outcomes in no times! Students find difficult to interact especially boys. Girls are more free to teachers. Some had digital distraction too. No active involvement in discussions. Maybe adolescent problems too can be the reason.
Its a difficult and challenging time for everyone, most houses have only one device which makes it difficult to connect with students. Also when we as teachers find concentrating on webinars , the students too find it pretty tough, especially if they miss one class, its difficult for them to catch up with the syllabus as they have missed out a few linking classes leading to lack of interest

lack of interest, especially in deeply understanding the concepts. most of them are self-centred, don't like to interact much with the community. fear of speaking up, very poor in public speaking. response in online class is minimal and has to be forced out of them.
Following the routine especially during online classes is a challenge. Also keeping in mind their adolescent age, the students are already going through a lot, EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY TOO.

The challenges that are seen today are lack of interest in attending the classes and doing the assigned activities, boredom, distraction from social media, lack of self motivation, difficult to retain interest in online classes and engage the students. Challenges faced during pre-covid era were marks-oriented approach rather than acquiring skills and concept formation. Peer-pressure is another hurdle. During this pandemic era, another challenge is to ensure the learning is effectively received. Students camouflage as serious learners and achievers seeking unfair means, thanks to technology. It has become necessary for schools to be able to discern and pro-actively ensure discipline, accountability and willingness to learn. One of the ways is putting competency based learning in practice. -Yogesh Singla
Physical and mental health of these students is at stake. Sedentary life style, lack of routine and using easy and unfair means has become a part of many. Too many distractions and lack of focus.
Students tend to focus more on marks than on learning. When they reach to the secondary or senior secondary level, there is a huge gap that needs to be abridged. They get highly influenced due to social media and peer pressure. Motivating and boosting up their confidence by the school leaders will certainly work in the long run.
The key challenge of online classes is internet connectivity and type of gadgets been used. For subjects like IT , it is a big challenge, as many a students who uses mobile and don't have laptop or desktop, they were not able to do practical for the topics which require software's that doesn't have a mobile edition. As a step towards reopening the school, many a schools are taking concern letter from parents to allow students to attend offline classes. To conduct both offline and online classes together is challenging.
Many challenges faced are there like addressing the emotional and psychological needs of adolescents The task of bringing discipline and accountability in the students.

Also keeping in mind their adolescent age, the students are already going through a lot, internally and in present times, externally also. Attitude of the secondary children is more focused on getting marks rather than understanding the application of the concepts.

Nowadays during pandemic, online classes are playing very important role and providing great apportunity to students in studies but due to this they are not getting environment of school , schooling is not just about learning lesson but also contribute lot in personality development such as punctuality, decipline, teamwork, overcome stage fear and many more experience which are been necessary in school life is missing
During the pendamic, online classes are playing vital role in studies and also providing great apportunity to students, anyone can learn from anywhere and most important in safest manner but schooling is not only about learning lesson it's about all over personality development of children, qualities such as punctuality, decipline, teamwork, overcome stage fear, sharing, and many more which are been necessary in life are missing.
1) In my opinion there is always a focus on CORE Subjects such as PCM, but as we see in COVID time most of the students don't how know how to install apps or access digital content. So I think Computer Science should be treated as a CORE Subject in secondary school. 2) Marks are the most important factor for students rather than knowledge. 3) Students got easily confused when dealing with graph and other visuals in mathematics. So there should be some graphical task and chapters should be there in 9th an 10th also.
There are good number challenges which are impacting students learning. Firstly, classes have not been happening in person for a long time and with a result student are out of routine. There are learning and skill gaps and which is the derailing understanding of new concepts. Non submission of work deprives students from receiving meaningful feedback from teachers. Also, the non-clarification of doubts cements misconceptions. Apart from these frequent changes in the mode of assessments has also pulled down learning.
List the changes that you have undergone from the time you were nine years old, till now. Illustrate physical, emotional and social changes which you have experienced. What are the changes which made you feel surprised or stressed till you realized that these changes were normal and natural?
What are the existing challenges that your secondary school
